Major Relaunch for Leading Vegetarian Dog Food

The country's leading vegetarian dog food range, Happidog, is being relaunched this summer with new and improved formulations, supported by new brand image and packaging.
Introduced to the UK pet food market in 1980, Happidog has an established market among dog owners preferring to use a vegetarian food and for dogs with sensitive digestions, skin problems or suspected allergies to meat.
"Our team of nutritionists have developed the new improved Happidog Crunchy Nugget and Happidog Traditional Flake products," says Happidog's manager Rob Steel. "Both products continue to use only natural, healthy and wholesome ingredients and are free from any artificial colours and preservatives."
Crunchy Nuggets contain a finely tuned nutritional balance of ingredients including pasta, rice and vegetables for added taste. Profeed, a natural prebiotic, and organic herbs have been included to aid digestion and palatability.
Suitable for all adult dogs, Happidog is recognised as the original vegetarian dog food and is approved by The Vegetarian Society and the BUAV under their 'no animal testing' pet food standard. Both Flakes and Nuggets are available in 2.5kg and 15kg pack sizes through pet shops and health food outlets, or by mail order directly from Happidog.
"Happidog gives dogs a complete, nutritionally balanced alternative to meat based products, providing all the nutrients they require for an active, healthy life from vegetarian sources," adds Mr Steel. "In addition, we have taken an environmentally friendly approach in the marketing and packaging of Happidog by using recycled paper and materials."
